Effortlessly capable of removing fine TIG welds on stainless steel handrails, leaving behind a pristine 320-grit satin finish in a single action.

For slightly heavier welds, we recommend sanding the weld with the RCD 115mm Medium disc first. Note that if you're new to the RCD, it's highly advisable to watch the instructional video on the product category pages.

The RCD discs defy traditional sanding conventions:
- Feel free to linger on the weld; considerable effort is required to undercut or flat-spot the metal.
- Sand to create sanding lines parallel with your tube (even though it may feel unconventional initially), eliminating the need for an additional sanding process to change the direction of the sanding lines.

Aspiring for a mirror polish? Follow these stages:
1. Remove the weld with the RCD Medium (or proceed directly to stage 2).
2. Refine with the RCD Very Fine.
3. Pre-polish with the SAG Grade 5.
4. Polish with the VAP Z felt disc and our PV/101 polish.
