GULLCO KATBAK 1G42-R CERAMIC BACKING TILES 12MTR/40' PER BOX

This tile is useful for M.I.G. welding with both solid and metal-cored wires. It is also useful for T.I.G. welding. Cored wires can also be used with this tile, but a smaller root reinforcement will result. Each tile is radiused to form the strip around a cylinder.

The Gullco 1G42-R is a ceramic weld backing tile with specific dimensions: approximately 1 inch (25.4mm) wide by 1 inch (25.4mm) long, featuring an 11.1mm (7/16") groove depth, a 6.3mm (1/4") tile thickness, and a 1.6mm (1/16") recess, designed to support root passes in welding with an adhesive backing.
