Description & Applications:

Copper alloy filler wire with addition of Nickel to strengthen the weld metal and improve the corrosion resistance, particularly against salt water. The weld metal has good hot and cold ductility and excellent corrosion resistance in saline solutions.

This grade may be used for:

• Welding and surfacing of similar alloys of composition;
• Joining of this alloy to steel, copper/nickel and other nickel alloys;
• Surfacing applications where high resistance to corrosion, erosion, or cavitation is required;
• Applications in high-grade plant/engineering, e.g. for the power generation and petrochemical industry;
• Offshore applications and shipbuilding industry.
